L-carnitine is an amino acid synthesized from amino acids, tysine and methionline in the kidney and liver.

It is the main function to transport 'long chain fatty acids such as glucose, fat, carbohydrates and protein, especially from the space between the membranes of carbohydrates and fat storage areas basically accumulated from the food we eat and convert it into energy.

In the mitochondria where fats and carbohydrates are converted into energy through a process called 'beta oxidation' with the help of L-Carnitine is also responsible for increasing oxygen consumption and energy production by the heart muscle. Thus, L-Carnitine is a fat transporter is required and also for the elimination of waste or toxins produced from the mitochondria in energy production, enabling them to be eliminated from the body.
